The first day with this thing, I couldn't even go for more than 6 minutes. I THOUGHT I was in better shape and the Helix proved me wrong. I love it! It makes a fabulous addition to any home gym. I can't wait to see how this helps my hips and glutes.

Yes, we hear that a lot because the patented motion of a Helix Lateral Trainer firstly requires use of muscles most people rarely exercise ( while they do use them in their day to day life) AND no cardio on the market activates more musculature than the our Lateral Trainers. Full "core to the floor workout"! Keep the good work and happy Helixing. By the way, most people ride at 45 to 55 RPM which is the ideal speed for a cardio workout. Sprinting up to 65 or so is a great way to Interval train.

Great for increasing stability
I started using the Helix just a few minutes three times a week as my muscles needed to develop. Almost immediately felt more stable climbing stairs and other obstacles. After several weeks i was able to use the device for 20 minute intervals more like a cardio workout
