My favorite piece of cardio

The Helix targets your butt, thighs and hips and burns fat while taking up 70 percent less space than a treadmill…You have no impact, no pounding, no noise. Easy on your joints, hard on your muscles and that’s what it’s all about. My favorite piece of cardio, hands down.

Helix Fits in Well With Us

I’ve had the opportunity to use the Helix and think it has great application. It is difficult to move cardiovascular training out of the sagittal plane and the Helix does just that. I have had my clients ‘slideboard’ for years to take advantage of frontal plane movement, but until Helix, there has never been a machine that could provide that. I highly recommend the Helix Lateral Trainer.

My number one cardio machine

When it comes to fitness equipment, I’ve seen it all…the Helix is by far the best machine to really tighten and tone the lower body. It works in a unique lateral motion to really hit the inner and outer thighs and the glutes.

A great adjunct to any training

I’ve had a Helix in my club for a number of years. I’ve used it for everybody from pro athletes from many different sports to actors and it’s a terrific tool because it works laterally; it works in a way that’s sports specific that applies to real life. It’s a great adjunct to any training and any sport.

I’d recommend it to anybody

Oh boy… Your glutes and obliques will hate you after 3 minutes of intervals on the Helix Lateral Trainer. Switch up your rotation from left to right, then right to left. It’s awesome for engaging muscles that people don’t normally hit during a north-to-south cardio drill. Moving east-west is not easy to do and so effective.

Helps me stay fit after three kids

I’ve had a Helix for years and now that I have three kids, it is really great to be able to get such a good work out--in such a quick period of time-- at home.

It has been unbelievable for me

I personally just had hip-replacement surgery. While this may be a pretty steep rehab curve because I’ve been active & in-shape my whole life, I’m working out on the Helix six weeks after that operation and it has been unbelievable for me to have access to that technology. In a rehab setting, the Helix has benefits that you simply can’t match with conventional equipment.

A break from your usual treadmill

It’s fun. It makes cardio enjoyable. It’s a break from your usual treadmill or elliptical…you’re getting a workout but it doesn’t feel like you are putting a ton of effort in.

Buns of Steel

The members love it – it makes them sore but they love it. People like it because it’s a challenge for them, and it definitely hits a muscle group that they can’t work on with other equipment….I tell them they’ll have trouble going through airports because they’ll have Buns of Steel. Once they hear that they jump on because I think that’s an important area they’re trying to target.

Provides options that just aren't out there

The Helix provides diversity & options on cardio. With cardio, it’s helpful psychologically for members to have different choices, and the Helix provides options that just aren’t out there with other machines. The different look and focus of the Helix also helps attract new members.

People like the cardio intensity

Our experience has been that it’s really popular. People like working the lower body muscles with the Helix side-to-side range of motion, and also folks interested in an overall-body workout really appreciate it. Plus I think people like the cardio intensity because they’re not used to working those muscles.

Our Members Love it

The HLT3500 Touch fits into Target 24 perfectly because it trains our members differently than traditional pieces of cardio equipment. When each member signs on, they meet a highly-skilled and certified personal trainer to determine the specific goals they’d like to achieve… The Helix Lateral Trainer is one of the more popular pieces of equipment and our members love it.

It's innovative

We have the Helix in four different campuses. I really like the Helix because it’s innovative and that’s what we’re always looking for – how do we stay ahead of the fitness center market and remain attractive to employees. I try to keep our clubs unique and creative and Helix helps us achieve that objective.
